The 16 teams for the 2013 CEV VELUX Volleyball European Championship – Men are found.
Belgium, Slovenia and Turkey booked the last three tickets for the Final Round of EuroVolley2013 and join Denmark, Poland, Serbia, Italy, Russia, Slovakia, Bulgaria, Belarus, Netherlands, Finland, Germany, France and the Czech Republic.
In the third qualification round Belgium needed a Golden Set to book their EuroVolley2013 ticket after having won over Greece 3-0 away and lost 2-3 and home. Slovenia downed Croatia 3-1 and 3-0. And finally Turkey beat Latvia 3-0 at home, lost 2-3 away and then won the Golden Set.
”It is really nice to know all the team in all the pools with just a little more than 100 days to EuroVolley2013 begins. We are looking forward seeing Belgium and Slovenia in Denmark. Also a big congratulations to Turkey with a great performance in their third round qualification matches,” says Mads Bang Aaen, Managing Director of the local Organizing Committee in Denmark.
The 2013 CEV VELUX Volleyball European Championship – Men is played the 20th-29th of September in Denmark and Poland.
