Bullet Club Reportedly Looking to Self Finance 10,000 Seat Event to Disprove Dave Meltzer Claim

According to Pro Wrestling Sheet, Cody Rhodes and Bullet Club are planning to host a 10,000 seat event in 2018.

The plan is in response to Dave Meltzer issuing a Tweet earlier this year claiming Cody and Ring of Honor would not sell out a 10,000 seat venue “anytime soon”, and Cody responded by Tweeting he would take the bet.

For the 2018 event, Rhodes has been looking to partner with ROH, as the company has exclusive domestic contracts with Rhodes and the Bullet Club.

Additionally, the Rhodes and his team, which includes Marty Scurll and The Young Bucks, are currently scouting London, Chicago, San Francisco and Ontario, California, the city in which the WWE Raw ‘invasion’ took place.

The tentative title for the event is “All In.”

@davemeltzerWON do you think ROH can ever sell out an arena with 10k+ fans? Something like the Madison Square Garden?
