Burbank Man Found Deceased In Bus Shelter On Harlem Avenue

WORTH, IL — A Burbank man was found deceased Wednesday morning in a bus shelter in Worth. He was identified as Jeffrey Lis, 49, by the Cook County Medical Examiner.

Just after 6:30 a.m., Worth police officers responded to a call of an unresponsive male in the bus shelter near 105th Street and Harlem Avenue. When officers arrived, they determined that the man had died.

Chief Tim Denton, of the Worth Police Department, said no foul play is suspected and that the Burbank man appears to have died of natural causes.
