Collision Caused School Bus Crash In Southern Ocean: State Police

WARETOWN, NJ — Tuesday’s school bus crash on the Garden State Parkway that injured five was caused by a collision between the bus and a Lexus, New Jersey State Police said.

It was shortly after 3 p.m. when the two vehicles crashed heading south at milepost 69.1 in Waretown, Det. Jeffrey Lebron told Patch.

“The Lexus ran off the road right and up an embankment and the school bus overturned in the left lane,” Lebron said.
