Toni Storm & Orange Cassidy title defenses made for AEW Battle of the Belts VII

Two new title matches have been announced for Saturday's AEW Battle of the Belts VII, airing live from Calgary, Alberta, Canada, following Collision.

One of those will see AEW Women's Champion Toni Storm defend against Taya Valkyrie in a first time ever match. Storm came out on Friday's Rampage to mock Valkyrie after her win and got talked into a title defense for Saturday instead.

Storm will be looking for the third defense of her second reign while Valkyrie is looking for redemption after coming up short against then-TBS Champion Jade Cargill twice.

In the other, AEW International Champion Orange Cassidy will hope to extend his lengthy reign as he defends against Lance Archer.

Archer called out Cassidy after his own win over Trent Beretta Friday. After getting physical with Cassidy, Archer and Jake Roberts stole the bag containing the International title and told Cassidy he could try to get it back Saturday.

A win over Archer will give Cassidy his 26th title defense while an Archer victory will give him his first AEW title of any kind. This will be their first ever singles match against each other.

The new additions join the previously announced TNT title match between current champion Luchasaurus and the Canadian-born Shawn Spears. Spears confronted the champion and Christian Cage backstage several weeks ago which set this in motion.
