BEVERLY HILLS, CA — It’s official: Beverly Hills residents have voted down the planned Cheval Blanc Hotel.
The “no” votes for the project’s two ballot measures won by a tiny margin. Measure B, which concerned zoning changes, was defeated by just 80 votes. Measure C, which would have codified the agreement between the city and developer, lost by 81 votes, according to final numbers released Friday by the Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk’s Office.
